Brennan, the movie.
Coming this May to the 213 Listening Room.
THE STORY: As a storm approaches the gulf coast, an alcoholic ex-priest Brennan Manning must rely on a troubled ragamuffin to get home to New Orleans to save his marriage before it’s too late.
THE MAN: Brennan Manning was a best-selling author of over 20 books, including The Ragamuffin Gospel and Abba’s Child. He was a former franciscan priest and vagabond evangelist, an influencer to artists and ragamuffins around the world such as D.C. Talk, Bono, and Rich Mullins.
THE MOVIE: Brennan is the follow-up film to Ragamuffin (2014) by writer-director David Leo Schultz. It was financed entirely through private gifts and the generous donations of ragamuffins around world on a GoFundMe campaign (still ongoing).
